A suite of services designed to reduce fuel costs and improve energy efficiency in operations.
The new generation BMT SMARTSERVICES product suite has been developed by BMT ARGOSS in line with industry led requirements. Working with industry partners, ship owners, operators and charterers, BMT have created a powerful performance monitoring tool with outputs providing financial and operational decision support.
The services offered are founded on a unique system that integrates comprehensive vessel recorded data with fully validated MetOcean (Meteorological and Oceanographic) data, including wind, wave and current values.
The system monitors vessel performance automatically and visualises trends using intuitive on-board and on-shore applications.
Supported by a unique data filtering capability, including wave height and trim, high integrity Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) have been specifically developed. These distinguish between the underlying performance of the hull, propeller, engine and fuel consumption, irrespective of routes and sea state.
With the ability to trend and review data over time, BMT SMARTSERVICES allows owners and operators to make informed decisions regarding vessel operation and maintenance.
